New Mexico Farm and Livestock Bureau
Scholarship Winners

A total of six scholarships have been awarded to deserving youth Farm Bureau® members, including the John Augustine Scholarship which is the top award and worth $1000. The remaining scholarships are worth $500. John Augustine was the first executive vice-president of the N.M. Farm and Livestock Bureau.

The scholarships are available to members of the New Mexico Farm and Livestock Bureau for one year of continuing education at an institution of the applicant's choice. Scholarships are awarded based on cumulative G.P.A., honors earned in high school, participation in offices, special activities and community involvement.

Funds for the scholarships are generated by donations from Farm Bureau members in memory of loved ones. Donations are essential to the program, and it is Farm Bureau's hope to help maintain the legacy by contributing to the education of youth in the name of Farm Bureau.
